	MACHINE DESCRIPTION:	An extra heavy duty flat bed compound feed lockstitch machine, the GA0688-1 is designed to sew multiple heavy weight materials easily and efficiently. The large shuttle hook and large capacity bobbin offer efficiency in operation. The bobbin winder is on the top of the machine head for easy access. The presser foot lift is adjustable up to 20 mm (.8 inches) thereby allowing it to be used in the production of heavy and hard to sew items. The thread size range for this machine is from TEX 70 to TEX 450. A stitch length of up-to 15mm is possible (which in sewing machine terms, is big) and the machine has a reverse stitch lever as standard. The walking foot action is fully driven and combines with the bottom feed and needle bar feed to produce a positive feeding motion for extra heavy use. The head has a long arm internal working area of 400mm to the right of needle and a high under arm clearance. The Highlead GA0688-1 is an industrial extra heavy duty machine for use on for example: Harnesses, Saddle materials, sails, carpets, thick canvas & leather, bags, rugs, parachutes, heavy webbing, safety belts, straps, buffing wheels, bulky quilting & beds etc. + many other extra heavy weight or bulky jobs.
